Australia’s Marcus Stoinis doesn’t see India’s recent drawn series with England impacting the upcoming Ashes, confidently predicting an Australian win. His analysis extends beyond the series result, however. He singled out Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj for high praise, acknowledging his significant workload throughout the five-Test series. Stoinis believes Siraj’s performance was particularly impressive given the demands of such a long contest.
Beyond the international stage, Stoinis is looking forward to the domestic season. He’s excited to work with Trent Rockets coach Andy Flower in The Hundred, highlighting Flower’s proven ability to rapidly assemble and build successful cricket teams. Stoinis clearly values Flower’s experience and expertise.
