Hunter Killed by Ricocheting Bullet from Homemade Gun

A tragic hunting accident claimed the life of a middle-aged man near Pernampet in Vellore district. Hari Krishnan, while hunting in a forest, was fatally struck by a bullet that ricocheted from his own homemade firearm.

The incident prompted a swift response from both police and forest officials. Authorities arrived at the scene, recovered Mr. Krishnan’s body, and subsequently transported it for a post-mortem examination.

This unfortunate event serves as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with using homemade weapons and the importance of firearm safety.
