The BJP has launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi following his allegations of election rigging in the recent Maharashtra polls. Amit Malviya, a prominent BJP leader, has accused Gandhi of employing tactics straight from the alleged playbook of billionaire philanthropist George Soros, aiming to erode public faith in democratic institutions.
Malviya pointed to a perceived hypocrisy in Gandhi’s accusations, emphasizing the absence of similar complaints from the Congress party when they achieved electoral success in states like Telangana and Karnataka. This stark contrast, Malviya argues, undermines the credibility of Gandhi’s claims regarding Maharashtra.
The BJP’s response comes in the wake of the Election Commission’s clarification on the matter, a clarification which the party has used to further bolster its counter-argument against the Congress leader’s allegations.
