India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, has praised the United States’ decision to label The Resistance Front (TRF) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and Specially Designated Global Terrorist. This move comes in the wake of the devastating Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, an incident that claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians.

The TRF, identified as a proxy group for the notorious Lashkar-e-Taiba, openly claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam attack. This designation by the US underscores the global condemnation of TRF’s violent actions and reaffirms a “zero tolerance” policy towards terrorism.
